Program 1: This program is a great starting sensor program. You will use several components of the LEGO NXT software and will then create an intelligent robot that can 'feel' walls. Listen to the audio clip for a break down of the program. Program 2:
This program takes you to how to use the SONIC sensor in a basic loop. Again you're using a nearly identical construct as the TOUCH sensor program, with a couple minor differences. First you are using the SONIC sensor as the function of the loop. Second, you no longer need the move block after the loop. The SONIC sensor is ending the loop approximately 6in away from the wall...this is more than enough room to turn. Listen to the audio clip for a break down of the program. Program 2:
This program will use the LIGHT sensor. This means that somewhere on the board is a dark line or space. Again the program looks similar to the TOUCH program, and almost identical to the SONIC program. The new setup is that your loop is waiting for a significant color change (light to dark) to end the loop. |
